For a business school that seeks to attract an international cadre of students and business professionals to its bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate programmes, recognition that it meets strict standards of higher education in its curriculum, faculty and innovative teaching practices, is of paramount importance.
The Swiss School of Business Research ensured that its programmes met strict adult higher education standards right from the onset by applying for and receiving certification from eduQua, the Swiss national quality assurance body and the first Swiss quality label geared towards adult continuing education.
SSBR followed this up by receiving recognition and becoming an Authorised Learning Centre for othm, an established and recognised UK-based Awarding Organization regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).
Now, in September of 2022, SSBR qualified for, and has received full accreditation from ASIC, the premier independent UK quality assurance body specialising in the institutional accreditation of education providers worldwide.
ASIC – Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities – benchmarks education providers against rigorous UK quality standards and its accreditation is an internationally renowned recognition that an institution, in this case SSBR, meets the highest standards of education, welfare and best practice. It draws on nearly three decades of British, and international education experience, and has a unique insight into the global education market, operating in over 60 markets worldwide.
ASIC is recognised by UKVI in UK and is a full member of The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), is a member of the BQF (British Quality Foundation) and are institutional members of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).
With this ASIC accreditation, SSBR’s innovative teaching methodology and practice, the backbone of which is:
-student-driven research based on their chosen area of expertise,
-live online classes, seminars and workshops across multiple time-zones,
-supported by a 200 million document plus reference and research library,
-all coordinated and delivered through their international, business-experienced faculty of professors and mentors,
cumulatively provides a wraparound, one-on-one, real-world business-centred experience that a student would hardly ever experience in a traditional university – and will now gain increased international recognition and acceptance.
The Swiss School of Business Research is committed to increasing their global footprint in the world of higher learning and their new accreditation is a testament to their global vision.
